Bossy
It's been getting increasingly difficult to post pictures on the blog because Mr. Ian has decided to be very needy lately and doesn't want mommy to put him down or he will scream at the top of his lungs. He thinks he's bigger than he is, and is quite bossy! We have a few pictures from last weekend when Lynn and Molly and Bruce and Beth came to visit and a few of Mr. Bossy.

Lazy Days
We had a pretty lazy weekend. Ian is getting better at eating solid foods. He had squash for the first time on Saturday. He loved it just like the rice cereal. We got him a big boy car seat this weekend too. Here's a couple silly pictures. One is a sneak preview of Halloween. We also let him have some "diaper free" time tonight before his bath and he was so cute playing, we couldn't resist taking some pictures. I think the plumber view is one to remember!

Go Gators!
Ian is having a big weekend. He just ate "solid food" today when we gave him rice cereal for the first time. All of the research and reading we did says not to be disappointed if the baby doesn't like it and may refuse it for up to a few months. In typical Ian fashion, however, he loved it and ate it all. He acted like this is what he's been waiting for all his life. We also took Ian to his first Gator Tailgaiting. We got see some friends who used to be roomates of Ado's. It was really hot outside, but we had fun. Ian tried to drink from a bottle that wasn't his as you can see. (Don't worry-he didn't get any!) Gooooo Gators!
Big Boy
It seems like over the past month, Ian is really turning into a big boy. He's sitting up, almost crawling (more like hopping on his knees), and very inquisitive about the world around him. He loves people and smiles at everyone, and already has the reputation of a "flirt" at school. He wants to hold everything and put it in his mouth. We took these pictures in the morning over the past few days. They're a pretty good depiction of how much Ian loves to play in our bed in the morning. He looked like such a big boy there hanging out on the bed with his toy watching cartoons. I now understand the feeling my dad always talked about when I was about 1 year old and thought I was so big and told him "No" eventhough I was just a little imp. Ian gives us that look now, like he knows he runs the show. We also thought he looked so cute in his PJ's from Grammy.

Labor Day
We had such a great time over the Labor Day weekend. Ian got to see both sets of grandparents, Lynn and Kenny, and of course his favorite, Molly. Ian got to do so many thing-play piano with Grammy, walk in the walker, swim in the pool, and go to the beach. He started saying "Bub-buh" too. It's really cute, so we keep trying to get him to say it.
